Kitesurfing courses/lessons or progress to the next level with our ever helpful IKO/BKSA qualified kitesurfing instructors in idyllic and safe locations. We are also a school center supported by Liquid Force using their kite & board 2008 range. You can also test Crazyfly boards.
Based on Lac Cazaux in the South West of France our version of the ever popular 'Kite Beach' offers safe onshore F3+ every afternoon. Safe launching and sailing on a shallow sand bar.This makes the location ideal for kitesurfers of all abilities. The locals are cool and seldom is there more than ten kites out at one time. For those more proficient and those wishing for something more challenging the Atlantic Ocean is only 10mins drive from the centre. Clean waves, clean water, miles of sandy beaches. Whether you have seen it and fancy a go, or are already up and going and wish to progress Blondeair is very lucky to have a good team of experienced IKO/BKSA kitesurf instructors on hand to help and advise you. All the instructors are BKSA (British Kitesurfing Association) IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) and BWS (British Water Ski) accredited. They are also all fully qualified in 1st aid and RYA powerboat qualifications.

Blondeair has a range of kites (Liquid Force & North), boards (Crazyfly & North) and accessories from Prolimit for your use. When attending an IKO course the instructors have the use of our equipment. Simply just pay the supplement on the accommodation prices or opt for our 4in1 package, get yourself here and let us do the rest! A great way to improve with other kiters in a safe environment.
The kitesurf beaches have on-shore Force 3-5's, safe launching and
landing areas and sandy, shallow shores. By the end of your first day
you will have learnt to water re-launch and body drag safely. Not only
is this fun but also it develops much needed skills. On the second day
the board is introduced. By the end of a week with us we expect you to
be up and riding both directions if not more!
1 and 2 day IKO courses are available enabling you to come and visit for at least a weekend. Private tuition on an hourly basis is not a problem. Accommodation only is available and welcomed for those of you who are already proficient and do not require instruction.
Day 1 Courses/lessons:
By the end of your first day you will have had your introduction
classroom session taking you through key theory elements of
kitesurfing, safety and weather. By mid morning have been on the beach
all wetsuited up, set up your own equipment, supervised by the
instructors and ready to enter the water. Then learnt to launch/land
the kite, water re-launch and body drag safely. Not only is this fun
and the 1st taste of more extreme things to come but also it
develops much needed skills. You will then return back to the center
late afternoon for a quick debrief with a small Q&A session. For
those only taking part in a 1 day course you will receive personal
feedback and your IKO kiteboarder card.
Day 2 Courses/lessons:
On the second day flying skills are developed further with more technical tasks and full use of the harness. The board is introduced seeing you try your 1st ride! The water session will finish with the water safety packdown & rescue. Its then back to the center for a quick debrief with a small Q&A session. Here you will receive personal feedback and your IKO kiteboarder card hopefully achieving levels upto level 2 of the IKO requirments.
On all courses there will be a small number ratio’s of 1 instructor
to 4 students max. Should you feel you would like to have even small
groups Blondeair offer a 1:2 fast track package and 1:1 package.
Private tuition on an hourly basis is also available.
All courses/lessons included equipment, safety gear and wetsuits.
